Brandon Routh

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Brandon Routh attended the University of Iowa and starred in several productions at the Norwalk Theater of Performing Arts before moving to Los Angeles.

Routh first appeared as an extra in Christina Aguilera’s “What a Girl Wants,” music video and was soon after cast in his first acting role for the ABC television series, “Odd Man Out.”

Subsequently, Routh appeared in several films including “Superman Returns,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” and hit television series “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Chuck” and “Gilmore Girls.”

Most recently, it was announced that Routh would suit up once more and return as ‘The Man of Steel’ for CW Network’s Arrow-verse crossover series, “Crisis on Infinite Earths” and depart from his current role in the “Legends of Tomorrow” television series.
