Parking is FREE at the JW Marriott in the designated parking lots. You will be directed to the assigned lots for the 2018 Celebrity Fan Fest. Parking closest to the main entrance of the event will be in high demand.


I bought my admission online.  What do I need to bring with me?

You must bring your confirmation email including your QR code (printed or mobile) to the event registration area on the day of the event. We  will validate it, and provide a wristband or lanyard (if applicable) that serves as your entry credential.  

Admissions are valid for one individual for either one or for multiple days, and may not be shared. If you remove a wristband, it is void and you will not be re-admitted.  

There will be no box office onsite at Celebrity Fan Fest, you must make all purchases online at

If I’m attending with a group, can I pick up everyone’s credentials?

No, the event registration team must place the wristband on the individual, so we cannot give you all of the wristbands for your group.  Each person must be present to receive a wristband.

What are the differences between VIP Packages and General Admission?

General Admission includes access to nearly all panels (except those clearly identified as either VIP only or separate admission required), on a “space available basis” and our exhibit hall during our posted event hours.

All VIP packages specify what is included in every package.

I purchased my “chosen celebrity” VIP package. Does this give me access to other VIP lines?

Your VIP corresponds to your designated celebrity group time. All other panels & presentations will provide access on a space available basis.

 I’m bringing my kids to the show. Do they have a separate admission price?

Anyone 13 or older must purchase admission at the regular price. Children aged 6-12 years old need a "Kids General Admission" ticket which is $10 per day. You may be asked to provide proof of the child's age.


I bought my admission, and my plans have changed.  Can I get a refund?

Like a theater or concert ticket, your admission is non-refundable.

I have a disability that requires a companion.  Do they need to buy admission?

Yes, they must purchase admission as well.



Do I have to pay for an Autograph?

Yes, unless otherwise specified. Our guests sell their autograph throughout the event during their scheduled autograph times.

The guest’s schedule will be posted online approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the event. 

Not all guests appear all days, so check our website and Facebook page for guest appearance days, and last-minute updates.

Will they sign my <fill in the blank>?

Celebrity Fan Fest has a strict weapon ban for metal, glass, plexiglass and stone weapons. Guests will not sign any body part. Guests may choose, at their discretion, not to sign any items with non-English language characters they cannot read. 

What other rules should I be aware of during the autograph sessions?

Handshakes are allowed. Kissing, hugging or other inappropriate touching is NOT allowed. Inappropriate images may not be signed by the guests and could also cause your removal from event. 

Where can I find the Autograph schedules?

We will post guest schedules on the website approximately one week prior to the event. 


What does my Photo Op entail?

Your Photo Op provides a photo taken by a professional photographer of you and the celebrity guest, taken with a professional camera under ideal lighting conditions. It is printed on 8×10” paper. Digital downloads are available for purchase. You can purchase additional copies of the photo at the event. You must check the Photo Op schedule on our website (posted approximately one week prior to the event) for the specific Photo Op time. For specific questions and information regarding photo ops and scheduling, you can submit a question.

Please arrive for your Photo Op 15-30 minutes prior to the Photo Op scheduled time. However, do not arrive more than 30 minutes prior. Arriving too early for your Photo Op will cause congestion at the photo queue entrance, and greatly hinder our staff in queuing fans. Please help us create a smooth experience for everyone.

Please understand that a Photo Op is not a meet and greet, but it is a rapidly moving process. It is important you listen for prompts from the line attendants and the photographer to ensure you get the best photo possible. 

How many fans can be in a single Photo Op with one ticket?

For each ticket purchased, you may have two persons (adults or children) in the photo. If you would like to have more than two persons in the photo, an additional photo purchase may be required. I.E. If you would like 3-4 adults, 2 total Photo Op tickets must be purchased and used for that photo. If you would like 5-6 adults, 3 total Photo Op tickets must be purchased and used for that photo.

I purchased Photo Ops online. How do I redeem them?

Please bring your QR code (not your receipt) in order to redeem it at Photo Op sales and redemption area during show hours. You may show your ticket on your phone, however please have it ready when you are redeeming. You may redeem your Photo Op/tickets at your designated time.

Day Specific tickets and group designations:

Tickets are sold on a day specific basis, and you will choose the day you prefer to have your Photo Op when adding your ticket to your cart. Your ticket must be used on the day you select.  Some tickets will have a group designation as well, such as “Photo Op Saturday Group A.” This means you must attend the scheduled Group A Photo Op time on the day you chose the Photo Op for (these times will be displayed on the Photo Op schedule). Group designations are typically set up for guests who sell a very high number of photo ops, so please pay attention to the group you have chosen, and only come for your op at that time. Please, if you have a group C Photo Op ticket, do not show up for the Group A time. It will only slow the process, increasing wait times for all our guests. If you have purchased multiple Photo Ops and have a time conflict, please see our Photo Ops representative prior to entering the queue.  

How early can I line up for my photo ops?

You may line up no more than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the photo op. Boards near the line entrance will list the current Photo Op line assignments or time for upcoming line assignments, so make sure to pay attention to any updates. Unofficial or fan created lines will not be honored when official lines are created.

If your designated line is not currently listed on the line assignment board or has not reached the start time for the line, please enjoy the rest of the show until the time has come for your line to start. Please do not stand around the Photo Op queue entrance awaiting your line to start, as it can cause great congestion around the queue entrance, and prevent fans who are trying to get into the queue for the currently running photo ops from getting their op.

Often, the Photo Op queue area will fill up entirely, please stay within your assigned line space. If you leave the lines for any reason, we cannot guarantee your place back in line. Only ticketed attendees or those in the photo with them are allowed in the queue area. Parents of underage children may wait in line with them. If you have special needs, or are caring for a special needs fan, please speak with our line staff before entering the queue area.

Any confirmed line jumping will result in your being moved to the end of the line for that photo op.

What happens in the photo op?

When you enter the Photo Op room, please have your Photo Op card / QR code in hand, and ready to present. Have all backpacks, purses, jackets, lanyards or any items you do not want in the photo off and ready to place on the table provided inside. You will not be more than a couple steps from your items.

Can I do a specific pose in my photo? 

Not all guests can accommodate poses or props during their Photo Ops. You will be informed prior to entering the op booth whether or not poses are possible with a specific guest. If you do have a pose in mind for a guest and that specific guest is in fact allowing poses, please try to have a pose in mind that can be quickly explained and is not unreasonably elaborate. Photo ops are a very quick moving process and some poses are simply not possible. Hugs and handshakes are generally acceptable but are ultimately at the discretion of each of our celebrity guests. 

Can I take a selfie?

Celebrity Fan Fest has a very select guest list, and a “no selfies allowed” policy, unless otherwise stated.  



Please be very respectful of our celebrity guests and other fans in line. Keep hands above the waist & visible at all times.

Be sure to listen for special instructions for each celebrity guest.


In order to ensure the health and safety of the guests as well as other fans, there is absolutely no kissing the guests or asking to be kissed by them. Attempting to kiss a guest may result in the loss of your Photo Op without refund.


Glasses often glare or make it very difficult for the photographer to see if you blinked, so please try to remove them if possible. If you cannot remove them, please be sure to try and tilt the glasses down away from the lights for the best possible photo.


Our photographers watch for blinks, however, sometimes they are missed. If when you pick up your print and you realize you blinked, please let us know immediately to ensure the guest is still in the room, and we will put you back in for a retake if possible.

Getting Your Photo

Just follow the brightly colored tape stripe on the floor at the Photo Op room exit. It will guide you to the print pickup area where your print will be handed to you in about 45-60 seconds. Once you have your print, you do not need to proceed to any more lines at the print pickup area unless you have a Photo Op Add-on such as a digital download or additional print. You may take your add-on ticket to the print station attendant or to Photo Op sales to have your add-on fulfilled.

Digital Downloads & Additional Prints

Be sure to redeem your add-on cards or tickets after picking up your initial physical print. You may do so with our computer tech in the print pickup area, OR at Photo Op sales. You MUST do this in order for your additional print to be made available. Due to the size of the image and the complexity of many email addresses, digital downloads are not emailed. Instead, they are made available to download from our website. Once the photos are taken, they are uploaded within seconds, and are available continuously via our simple web form, and also can be downloaded as many times as desired.

What if I miss my Photo Op?

Refunds will not be granted for missed photo ops. However, you may be able exchange your Photo Op ticket for another available Photo Op ticket at Photo Op sales & redemption. However, this is NOT guaranteed. We strongly suggest you be sure to check the Photo Op schedule for changes as the show date approaches, and even the day of the show.

As stated previously, be sure to be 15-30 minutes early for your photo op, we are not responsible for the length of time any Photo Op lasts as some photo ops only last a matter of minutes. This means if you arrive even two minutes after some photo ops start times, you may miss your chance.

Can I buy a Photo Op at the event?

Yes, provided they have not sold out! We highly recommend reserving your photo op ahead of time as premier celebrities are in high demand.  

Do I need Admission to get a Photo Op?

Yes. Admission is required in addition to the price of the photo op.


Where can I find a programming schedule?

The programming schedule will be posted approximately one week prior to the event. Please check back for a full schedule of events. 



Can I include a replica weapon in my cosplay?

Any weapon or replica weapon must be made of plastic or foam to be allowed into the event. This includes those with a concealed carry permit. 

What if my costume is a little risqué.  Is that OK?

Our events are family-friendly. Please be sure that your costume meets that criteria.  We want our families to feel comfortable at the show with their children.  


Cosplay is not consent. 

Please remember, cosplay is not consent. Please be respectful of all other guests, and do not touch or take pictures of them without permission. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event.



Can I bring a camera?

Professional cameras (including DSLR) will not be permitted unless you are a registered member of the press that has received proper credentials issued by PMX Events in advance of Celebrity Fan Fest . No zoom lens attachments on any camera type are allowed. 

When is photography restricted? 

Flash photography and video recording are not allowed during the main stage panels. 

Are selfie sticks allowed? 

No, selfie sticks are not permitted into the venue. 

Can I bring a tripod? 

No. To ensure the best experience for all our guests, tripods are not allowed.


If you have a disability, please check with the information booth on site so we can make any necessary accommodations. The venue is ADA compliant, and our staff is highly trained to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience no matter the circumstances. 


We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. Our staff may remove anyone from the event at any time, without refunding their admission, if their behavior violates our policy.

Please remember that “Cosplay Is Not Consent,” and ask before photographing or touching anyone!


No real or realistic guns, knives, swords, hammers, spears or other weapons are allowed at all, including Airsoft and similar guns. This includes attendees with a concealed carry permit. Any weapon or replica weapon must be made of plastic or foam to be allowed into the event.

I have a carry permit, can I bring my gun?

No guns other than foam or plastic toys are allowed in the event. No exceptions.
