“The Blue Brothers” 40th Anniversary Tour Coming to San Antonio

This special concert is part of the Superhero Car Show & Comic Con taking place August 4-7, 2022


SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – APRIL 11, 2022 – Comedy and music icons Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi will celebrate the 40th anniversary tour of the 1980 American musical comedy, The Blue Brothers, with a special concert on Friday, August 5 at 8:15 p.m. at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. The concert is part of the Superhero Car Show & Comic Con taking place August 4-7,2022 at Freeman Expo Halls.


The 90-minute show and concert features The Blues Brothers’ 12-member band who will play fan favorite R&B and soul musical numbers from the movie. The Blue Brothers band, which was originally founded in 1978 by actors Dan Aykroyd and the late John Belushi, began as a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live.
